ABOUT US
Vibrant Voices Village CBO is a grassroots Community Based Organization rooted in the belief that change starts at the community level. We work across Kenya to empower youth, promote inclusive education, enhance food security, and respond to climate change through local innovation and strategic partnerships. We are also accredited by the United Nations having participated in the first ever United Nations Civil Society Conference in Africa.

To empower marginalized communities through inclusive education, youth and women empowerment, climate-smart agriculture, and advocacy for disability inclusion and rights — by amplifying local voices and building grassroots capacities for sustainable development.

MEET OUR TEAM
Founder & Executive Director.
YUSUF VALENTINE.Yusuf Valentine Oduor is the visionary founder and Executive Director of Vibrant Voices Village CBO Kenya. With a strong background in psychology and project management, he leads the organization with purpose and passion. Yusuf is a youth advocate, community mobilizer, and a champion of sustainable development, having represented grassroots voices at international platforms such as the UN Civil Society Conference. His leadership continues to inspire transformative change across communities in Kisumu County and beyond.
Board Member.
MARK SORO.Dr. Mark Soro is a dedicated humanitarian and respected medical doctor with years of experience serving vulnerable populations. He serves on the board of Vibrant Voices Village CBO while also holding the position of Executive Director at Kind Heart Organization Kenya. Dr. Soro brings deep insight into health systems, policy advocacy, and social justice. His dual role reflects his unwavering commitment to improving community well-being through both strategic leadership and direct medical intervention.
Project Officer.
ALPHONCE ODHIAMBO.Alphonse Othiambo is a licensed nurse and passionate social worker, serving as the Project Officer at Vibrant Voices Village CBO Kenya. His hands-on approach and tireless dedication make him a pillar in community outreach and health-based programming. Alphonse is instrumental in coordinating field activities, mobilizing stakeholders, and ensuring that interventions reach the most marginalized. His empathetic leadership and professionalism continue to elevate the impact of the organization.
